NEW PHOTOGRAPHS - December 2008
The new photographs this month are all from an afternoon at Fort Macon State Park on the coast of North Carolina. I had spent the day scouting maritime forests in the area and decided to spend the last few hours of daylight at the beach. It was not difficult to get close to many of the birds. I suspect they had become used to people because this beach is a popular spot for fisherman.
